Your first visit, start to finish
What happens in those 75 minutes, what to wear, and what you leave with.
Your first visit is 75 minutes, one-on-one, with the same therapist start to finish. Here is how that time usually goes.
Before you arrive
Wear clothes you can move in. Bring any imaging or surgical notes if you have them, and a list of medications. Think about when this started, and what was going on in your life around then. It is often relevant.
The first part: the story
We talk. Not a checklist, a conversation. What hurts, what helps, what you have tried, and what you want to get back to.
The middle: tracing the root
We look at how you move: breathing, balance, how load travels through you. We test strength and mobility above and below the painful area, because that is often where the cause lives.
The end: a plan and a start
Treatment starts the same day. You leave with an explanation in plain language, a few things to do at home, and an honest estimate of how many visits it should take.
